Simple Self-Care: How to Make a Lemon Scrub

Ah...Doesn’t this look amazing?! I wish every night ended with a warm bath like this, but let’s be honest, there isn’t always enough time for long, luxurious soaks.

Intentional Hack: Try getting some quiet time in during your routine morning/evening shower! Use a sugar scrub (below) on your hands/feet, set up an aromatherapy diffuser nearby, and listen to some spa music or a meditation with a shower radio! You can turn a rushed shower into a moving meditation!

DIY Lemon Scrub (inspired by Savings Lifestyle)

1/4 Cup of Granulated Sugar

1/8 Cup of Coconut Oil

Juice of 1 Lemon (I like the lemon strong)

Stir and store in a small glass jar. I use these 4oz jars for all my DIY beauty products.

I leave my jar in the shower and rub it over my hands and feet, then wash off. The gritty sugar awakens the senses in the skin and the sweet lemon scent is rejuvenating!
